Have A Little Faith in We

One of my favorite things about being a blog follower is how the experience goes from just following along to eventually feeling like you are taking advice from a friend. As a result of my love for blogs, I have purchased clothes, tried hair styles, decorated mantles, read books, organized my office, discovered health tricks, and become inspired in countless ways! Reading about a solution that an everyday person, just like me, finds enriching to their lives has been really helpful – so here on HALF I thought I would get in on the info sharing action and include a weekly favorites post!  Each week I will share one of my favorites things! The topic areas will range from favorite clothes to organizing solutions even some health tricks. Really anything that we just can’t live without – or would really not want to – at the Bessette home and maybe you can find something you love too!

Following a few snow days today’s favorite are a few of my winter wardrobe staples: Jcrew Flannels! I have been trying for the last few years to find a few good flannels – a nice fit, thick enough that the shape stays, but not too heavy since I planned to do a lot of layering. Honestly I tried a few cheaper options, but after a several wears or washes the fit would change or the material was way too thin or way too thick! SOOOOO this year while doing a little Black Friday Online shopping – I decided to follow one of my absolute favorite fashion bloggers – Hi Sugarplum – advice and treat myself to this style of shirt from Jcrew.

Ya’ll – these have been AWESOME addition to my winter looks. I swear I have to try and remember how recently I wore them so I don’t over do it in one week! They are great for layering…. they are wonderful on their own…. I am never bothered temperature wise…. and they keep their shape! Yes, I got them on sale – but I would venture to say it is worth full price. The two styles that live in my closet are this plaid red one and the checkered blue style. If you follow me on instagram you know I a wear them a lot!

Sooooo we are hoping the spring season is on its way (heck Easter is just a few days away!!)  – but I thought this might be a good time to think about winter staples to stock up on because end of seasons sales! And I was right – JCrew tops do have a few sales! Not the exact same as the ones I have but some nice options. If you are looking for the perfect button ups for next winter and to tide you over as we await spring- check these out.
