Have A Little Faith in We

One of my favorite things about being a blog follower is how the experience goes from just following along to eventually feeling like you are taking advice from a friend. As a result of my love for blogs, I have purchased clothes, tried hair styles, decorated mantles, read books, organized my office, discovered health tricks, and become inspired in countless ways! Reading about a solution that an everyday person, just like me, finds enriching to their lives has been really helpful – so here on HALF I thought I would get in on the info sharing action and include a weekly favorites post!  Each week I will share one of my favorites things! The topic areas will range from favorite clothes to organizing solutions to health tricks. Really anything that I feel we just can’t live without – or would really not want to – at the Bessette home and maybe you can find something you love too!

And this post is for the ladies….. the buds are starting to bloom, the sun is staying out a little longer, when you wake up the birds are chirping and summer is knocking on the door…. drum roll please… it’s bathing suit season!!! Oh yes- the most loved season by women everywhere-said no one ever!! Maybe it’s how you feel about body… maybe it’s the ordeal of shopping… maybe it’s the realization that a suit you feel good in could cost you $$$$ and you can’t just add a sweater and call it an office look too?!?!?!? No matter your feeling it can be a tough topic when it comes to shopping, but today friends I am sharing my diamond in the rough: the perfect bathing suit.

No matter what a pain in the butt the bathing suit thing is- I love summer and can’t deny that an afternoon bathing in the sun with a cold drink and good read is one of my favorite things in this whole wide world!! So finding a suit I am comfortable in has been key. My criteria has become – structured fit, allows movement and wear laying still or chasing after my pup, and provides a way for good sun exposure (an x- tanning bed queen, I still have to get my tan fix somewhere). This past summer I knew I had to really get a good one because we were going to a dog beach…. and I knew to control Quinlan I had to have something that I could really move in… enter the most brilliant shopper I know, my mom! She lent me her suit and in the words of Danny “and Mara for the bathing suit win”! It was perfect: awesome structure, super flattering, and trendy…. I was in love!

For the 4 days we spent at Atlantic Beach, I lived in this suit. Even running to get coffee I just threw it on with a cute coverup. I felt so comfortable because of the good structure, perfect coverage, and (let’s be honest) the ease to hit the ladies room- it was my favorite beach accessory.
