One of my favorite things about being a blog follower is how the experience goes from just following along to eventually feeling like you are taking advice from a friend. As a result of my love for blogs, I have purchased clothes, tried hair styles, decorated mantles, read books, organized my office, discovered health tricks, and become inspired in countless ways! Reading about a solution that an everyday person, just like me, finds enriching to their lives has been really helpful – so here on HALF I thought I would get in on the info sharing action and include a weekly favorites post! Each week I will share one of my favorites things! The topic areas will range from favorite clothes to organizing solutions to health tricks. Really anything that I feel we just can’t live without – or would really not want to – at the Bessette home and maybe you can find something you love too!
So today’s favorite thing is one of my most favorite gifts I have received and one of my favorites to give Nora Fleming. These pieces give you a way to be festive all year long and I love it!

A very good family friend of ours is one of those awesome gift givers. She always knows the cutest little trinkets, the most fun trends, and how to procure that perfect gift for every occasion! Over the years when Dan has been confined to only “Netflix and the couch” carmel corn showed up on our doorstep or the annual hockey outdoor game official shirt from 2011 that she knew Dan would love. So when we moved into this house she gifted our first Nora Fleming piece with one of our most adored doodades (as Mom and I call them): hockey skates!
How did she know to give a gift I would love to decorate the house, but with hockey flare so Danny would love it too?

You guys know that my love language are personalized gifts: monogrammed bags, anything with a B on it, and now these pieces that give me a way to decorate our house all year long with just a simple little doodade change up! And since I have professed this love for the collection and always makes sure that I have the perfect doodads accent for each occasion… friends and family have helped my collection to grow!
